My camera and my computer are fighting.
It is not even June yet and I am already cut up, sunburned, bruisy, and completely covered in bug bites. Funny that summer is my favorite time of year.
Last weekend I made a bunch of salsa, which made my fingers burn for hours, and then we went to a barbecue at Jess and Trevor's super fancy new house on the far south side.

Later we videotaped the Frontier Brothers show at Mohawk. Afterwards, I took a couple hits off of a joint and then became entranced by the snowflakelike shadows cast across my leg.

The next day we played croquet in the backyard at dusk amongst the fireflies (and mosquitoes) and went inside and played board games.

Can
you guess what this drawing depicts? It's not a pirate.
On Tuesday I cut a lot of my hair off and now I am a better, happier, more beautiful person.
Wednesday was a great day. But, I forgot my camera battery. We rode our bikes across town, checked out a few thrift stores, visited the animals at the shelter, went kayaking, drank wine on the Long center lawn at dusk while watching little children invent games and tumble down grassy hills, went out for burgers and beer, and then saw a crazy gypsy band play at Spider House.
Most other times this week have involved accomplishing things, such as yardwork and purchasing furniture.

Today I spent hours at work reading other people's arguments. There's something amazing and beautiful about other people's arguments.
